Regardless of client or intended audience, I strive to deliver translations that read as if they were written in the target language – with flair, precision, and using modern and relevant language.

In each and every project, I make full use of professional technical aids such as the translation tools Trados and Wordfast. This ensures that terminology is consistent, speeds up turnaround, and is essential for larger projects involving teams of translators.

Subtitling:

I am an expert in Swift Workstation subtitling software, and am also happy to perform timing and/or spotting for your subtitles, or serve as a consultant for all matters linguistic.

Films to be subtitled can be placed on a server to download, or can be sent to me on a DVD, preferably as an MPEG1 file with time code. Completed subtitles can be delivered in all standard formats (txt, stl, 890, pac).

I also provide translations for voiceover scripts, screenplays, and for dubbing preparation for the area of media translation.
